Overview

WePlan ("the App") is a calendar app that you can share with the people you choose, developed by Make It Simple. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what the App stores, who can see it, and how to delete it.

Your Account

The App has no sign-up screen. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number.

Data Collection

What Stays On Your Device

This data can be deleted by deleting your events, clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.

What Is Stored on Our Server

If you use a shared calendar, the App stores the following in a Google Firebase Firestore database (hosted by Google), under the calendar's share code:

What We Don't Collect

Who Can See Your Data

Anyone who has a calendar's share code, or scans its QR code, can see and edit that calendar's events. Only share the code with people you trust. Events you keep only on your own calendar are not uploaded.

Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is used. Google may collect certain information as described in Google's Privacy Policy, such as an app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, country and general usage of the App. We don't use it to identify you.

Permissions

Camera

Used only to scan a QR code to join a shared calendar. The App doesn't take or store photos.

Internet Access

Used to sync shared calendars and for analytics.

Phone State

Requested so the App can read your phone's model for the device description above.

Data Retention and Deletion

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
